I began with the Department of Human Ecology while a graduate student in January of 1976. I have remained here since in a variety of capacities; for a long time I have been an Instructor. I teach our "Intro to Human Ecology" and "Population, Resources and Environment" courses and also alternate teaching "Research Methods in Human Ecology" and "Communities and Environmental Change". I've been quite active on university committees (e.g., the University Hearing Board and Instutional Review Board for the Care of Animals), school committees (e.g., the SEBS Financial Aid Committee and General Honors Committee) and with undergraduates (e.g., I am the Faculty Advisor to Alpha Zeta Honors/Service Fraternity).
