  • Armani Beck-McField is interested in the construction and maintenance of privilege and identity in contemporary U.S. society, specifically in relation to race, gender, and sexuality. At present she is conducting interviews with transgender adults about their experiences gaining and losing male privilege while navigating other systems of domination. Armani is extremely passionate about educating scholars at the undergraduate level, specifically in courses related to gender and sexuality. Armani has earned a B.A. in Psychology and a Certificate in Sexuality and Gender Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park (2014), an M.Ed. in Human Sexuality from Widener University (2016), and an M.A. in Sociology from Rutgers University (2021).
