We are very excited to announce that Emily Handsman will join the department as our newest assistant professor in Fall 2024. Emily is a researcher & teacher focused on how equity initiatives unfold in K-12 schools. She received her PhD in Sociology from Northwestern University and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. We look forward to welcoming Emily to Rutgers in September!
