Man Kaplan completed their PhD in 2022 with major support from the Department in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Rutgers Advanced Institute for Critical Caribbean Studies. Their research and teaching interests include decolonial feminism, feminist epistemologies, and the geopolitics of knowledge. Man also holds an MA in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University and a BA in Sociology and Mathematics from Vassar College. If seemingly preoccupied, they are most likely dreaming of transdisciplinary education, social transformation, cheese, or really big dogs.
