Lauren Murphy completed her PhD in Sociology in 2019 with a focus on health disparities in older adulthood in the context of household living arrangements. Her areas of interest include health disparities, neighborhood effects on health, the life course, gerontology, disability, and quantitative research methods. During her fellowship, she will investigate demographic and geographic disparities in access to preventive primary, dental, and vision services among people with spinal cord injury.
