  • Kathryn’s research interests include gender, sexuality, education and violence prevention. She is particularly interested in qualitative approaches to understanding gender based violence and its prevention. She earned her M.A. in Sociology of Education from New York University and B.A. from Ursinus College in Spanish with a concentration in Gender Studies. She has worked across the intersection of research and practice both at Franklin and Marshall College as the Director of Student Wellness Education and Violence Prevention, and at UPenn School of Medicine in the Center for Emergency Medicine Policy Research.
