Doctoral Student

Seukyoung is interested in the politics of clean energy transition, just transition, and climate finance. Her current research focuses on how public and private finance is mobilized and governed to accelerate the phase-out of fossil fuel generation, and how it affects utilities, workers, and local economies. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Vanderbilt University and her Master's in Environmental Planning from Seoul National University.
