  • Yujia Wang (Vicky)'s research interests lie at the intersection of urban sociology, social inequality, and computational social science, with a particular focus on how urban environments shape people’s everyday experiences and access to opportunities. Her previous work examined public transportation experiences in urban China and explored questions related to accessibility and perceptions of safety in cities. More broadly, she is interested in understanding how social and spatial environments influence inequality and daily life. She received her B.A. in Social Science (Urban Studies track) from New York University Shanghai.
