Doctoral Student

Amanda is an environmental sociologist with expertise in climate change, environmental technologies, and food systems. Her research at Rutgers is focused on the emerging science of solar geoengineering, in which she attempts to contextualize this niche scientific field within sociological understandings of climate change. She has previously conducted research on agricultural technology and international energy policy. She graduated from Boston College in 2017 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies.
