Brent blends cultural and social network analysis to investigate problems of assessment, evaluation, and valuation. His general research interests span culture, cognitive and social psychology, organizations, health, social stratification, financialization, and algorithms. He completed his BA in economics at Lafayette College (2012) and MA in social sciences at the University of Chicago (2018).
